2012 Herb Day
The first month of market season flew by so fast!! Here we are ready for May and we all know what that means....HERB DAY!!
Come join the Sedgwick County Extension Service, Master Gardeners Program and the Kansas Grown! Inc. Farmers' Market for Herb Day, Saturday, May 5th. Be on hand for the unveiling of the new Sedgwick County Extension Master Gardeners' Demonstration Garden! Can't wait for you to see it, it is awesome!
Enjoy your morning strolling through the farmers' market, in between the demonstrations, which will be held inside the building. You will find just what you are looking for at the market. The vendors are ready with all of the new garden fresh (really, garden fresh) produce, varieties of meats, eggs, honey, salsas, along with a wonderful selection of baked goods. You will find plants, plants and more plants! The market has a variety of rustic furniture, yard art, pottery, and fine jewelry. Don't forget those fresh cut flowers to brighten your home or office. How about something good for your pets? Our vendors have them covered too! And, much, much more. OH, don't forget the HERBS!!
